Under the motto #createthenew, leading minds in the technology, design and creative industries discussed future topics in the form of workshops, expert panels, keynotes, co-working spaces and interactive platforms. Festhalle and Bahnhofsviertel complemented each other perfectly as locations for the convention during the day and a series of events in the evening. On behalf of the implementing agency LIGANOVA from Stuttgart, the company dlp motive was responsible for a complex layher construction in front of the Festhalle. This consisted of four elements in which it was important to combine functionality and appealing design in the best possible way in terms of statics and construction. Specifically, it was a stage situation, an information counter, a check-in desk for the convention participants and a weatherproof enclosure for a virtual reality cube.A particular challenge was the extremely short-term set-up and dismantling timing, as well as the great proximity to the surrounding hotels, which brought higher demands on noise protection.
