dlp motive at the international german gymnastics festival in berlin

Jun 6, 2017 | Sport

80,000 participants from eleven nations competed for medals in Berlin. A highlight was the big Gymnastics Festival Gala in the Olympic Stadium on 6 June, to which the Chancellor did not miss the opportunity to come. Around 65,000 people celebrated gymnastics. In addition, the exceptional gymnast Fabian Hambüchen, who is retiring from active sport after 14 years, was bid farewell. The main stage was a circular platform construction, the rear wall of which consisted of a truss arch covered with mesh fabric. Spotlights inserted into the arch ensured that the actors were staged in the best possible way. In addition to the main stage, five satellite stages were in use, which could change their location variably as design elements on the entire open space of the stadium. The constructions were conceived and implemented by the company CreationPark on behalf of dlp motive under the project management of Markus Riedinger.
